Robyn is also a Fellow Member and Training Consultant Dispute Resolution Centre, Faculty of Law, Bond University where she has been as a trainer, assessor and coach since 1996 and was the Lead Trainer from 2018 – 2020.

 

Robyn completed her BSW (Hons Psych) at the University of Queensland in 1978 and post graduate studies in family therapy, conflict coaching and family dispute resolution thereafter. She worked as a Senior Court Conciliator, in the Family Court for 5 years in the Canberra and Brisbane Registries before training as a general and family mediator / facilitator in the USA in 1987.

Robyn has worked in Private Practice as a mediator / FDRP in Hong Kong (Hong Kong Family Mediation Service) and on the Gold Coast, Australia (Collaborative Mediation Services) for the past 30 years conducting over 5,000 mediations/ facilitations in a range of commercial, family business, and family dispute resolution areas and specialising in multiparty, high conflict and culturally responsive mediations / facilitations.

Robyn is co-director of Global Mediation Services Ltd, HK and Global Training and Professional Development Pty Ltd, Australia. These services were set up to provide ongoing advanced and master level ADR training and continuing professional development and supervision to commercial and family mediators, negotiators, facilitators, and coaches in the Asia Pacific region.

Robyn is regularly invited to conduct interpersonal and dispute resolution training courses across a range of countries such as Australia, UK, France, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong and to speak at international mediation and ADR conferences.
